AJ has made an announcement just over 10 days after all of his tour dates were cancelled for his US tour that would have spanned May 31, 2024 until July 1, 2024 for As Far As The Eye Can See.

His announcement pertains to him officially parting ways with his record label on HIS terms, Vol. 1 Records and making the decision to postpone both the upcoming tour and the release date of his new album, As Far As The Eye Can See. This officially makes him an independent artist!

Read AJ’s full announcement below:

Hey everyone,

I have some important news to share with you and I want you to hear it directly from me.

I’m parting ways with my record label and as a result I’ve had to make the difficult decision to postpone both my upcoming tour and the release date of my new album. This decision wasn’t made lightly, and I hate to disappoint any of you who have been eagerly waiting.

For a while now, I’ve felt that the communication has not been what it should be. It’s been tough on me and I want to be honest about where things stand. You, my fans, are the reason I get to do what i love, and your support means everything to me.

I love music, writing, performing and most importantly sharing it with you all. Right now my priority is being transparent and making sure that every move I make from now on is in the best interest of my art and your experience. I’m working to make sure that when the tour and album do happen, they’ll be worth the wait.

Your patience, understanding, and unwavering support mean the world to me. Hope you know that I’ve been working hard behind the scenes to come back even stronger.

I’m honestly really excited to be independent again. It’s been a while since I’ve felt this kind of freedom and motivation, knowing i can release what i want, when i want. I can’t wait to share new music and experiences with you soon. I take none of this for granted I’m beyond blessed, thank you.

All my love,
AJ.
